At Giggr, trust is our currency. The Digital Maturity Compass is designed to help you assess your organization's digital readiness while respecting your privacy and ownership. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it to generate insights and benchmarks, and how you stay in control.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service and generate meaningful benchmarks:
Identity & Access
- Work Email: Required for verification via One-Time Password (OTP) and to secure your session.
- Name: Optional, used only for display on your results and assets.
Organization Profile
- Company Name, Function, and Role. These are normalized to group you into relevant benchmark cohorts.
- Seniority: Stored as metadata but not used for individual scoring or public benchmarks.
Questionnaire Responses
Your specific choices (0-5 scale) for each dimension.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To Provide Results: We process your answers to compute your maturity scores and generate your personalized dashboard.
- To Improve the Product: We use aggregated analytics to understand where users find value.
- To Create Benchmarks: We aggregate data to show how you compare to peers.
4. Benchmarks & Anonymization
Our benchmarking engine is designed with strict privacy gates:
- N ≥ 2 Rule: We never show benchmark scores for a group unless there are at least 2 distinct responses in that cohort.
- Aggregation Only: Benchmarks are always averages or medians. Individual responses are never exposed to other users.
- No De-anonymization: We prohibit using the service to attempt to identify specific individuals.
5. What We Don't Do
- ✗ We do not sell your personal data or individual responses to third parties.
- ✗ We do not share your individual results with your employer unless you explicitly choose to.
- ✗ We will not send you marketing emails without your consent.
6. Data Retention
- OTP Codes: Hashed and retained only for the short duration of the login window (approx. 10 minutes), then purged.
- Response Records: Retained to allow you to revisit your results and to maintain historical benchmarks. You may request deletion at any time.
